Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Gentle Paws Petcare website and mobile veterinary services provided by the Gentle Paws team. By using this website, submitting a booking, submitting an emergency request, or requesting a service, you agree to these terms.
2. Services provided
Gentle Paws Petcare provides mobile veterinary services for pets and selected exotic animals in Accra, Tema, Kasoa. Services may include consultation, vaccination, deworming, emergency support, wound care, surgery and dental arrangements, grooming, diagnostic coordination, pharmacy/product guidance, and follow-up care.
Some cases may require referral to a clinic, hospital, laboratory, specialist, or partner facility. This will be recommended when it is safer or more appropriate for the patient.
3. Appointments and availability
- Submitting a form is a request and does not automatically confirm an appointment.
- Home visits depend on location, scheduling, staff availability, case urgency, and required equipment.
- Routine service hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM โ 6:00 PM.
- Emergency requests may be submitted 24/7, but response depends on distance, urgency, availability, and patient needs.
- If your pet is in critical distress, call immediately. A form submission alone is not enough for severe emergencies.
4. Surgery, dental, grooming, and pharmacy services
- Surgery and dental services may be performed at home, at a partner clinic, or by special arrangement depending on assessment and patient safety.
- Medicated grooming or grooming for pets with skin disease may require veterinary assessment first.
- Pharmacy/product advice and some medications may require veterinary approval before supply or use.
- Online or virtual advice does not replace a physical veterinary examination where one is required.
5. Quotes and payment
Prices are not fixed publicly because each case may differ. Quotes may depend on:
- Service requested and number of pets
- Location and travel requirements
- Urgency of the case
- Nature of the condition and treatment needed
- Medication, diagnostics, procedures, or follow-up needs
Payment is made after appointment confirmation. Accepted payment methods include Mobile Money, Hubtel, Cash. Quotes may change if the scope of care changes after clinical assessment.
6. Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact, location, pet, and medical information.
- Disclose aggression, anxiety, bite risk, escape risk, allergies, current medications, and previous relevant medical history.
- Provide safe access to the pet and a suitable area for examination where possible.
- Ensure a responsible adult is available during the visit.
- Follow medication, aftercare, referral, and follow-up instructions as advised.
- Notify us early if you need to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments or late cancellations may affect future scheduling.
7. Clinical outcomes and limitation of liability
Gentle Paws Petcare aims to provide professional and compassionate veterinary care, but veterinary outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Patient response may depend on disease severity, timing of treatment, underlying conditions, client compliance, referral decisions, and factors outside our control. Our liability is limited to reasonable service-related issues and does not extend to outcomes caused by inaccurate information, refusal of recommended care, delayed presentation, progression of disease, or circumstances beyond our control.
8. Privacy and records
Personal and pet health information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By submitting a booking or emergency request, you agree that relevant information may be used to provide care, follow-up, referrals, and service communication.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute should first be raised directly with Gentle Paws Petcare using the contact details below.
