Gentle Paws Petcare is a mobile veterinary and pet care service serving Accra, Tema, Kasoa. We provide home-visit veterinary care, emergency support, follow-up care, grooming, and related pet health services through a growing team of veterinary professionals and support staff.

- Quote, payment status, and service follow-up information
- Basic technical information such as device/browser information, security logs, and rate-limit events where needed to protect the website
3. Why we collect this information
- To manage appointment bookings and emergency requests
- To locate clients for mobile/home visits
- To provide veterinary assessment, treatment, referral, and follow-up care
- To communicate appointment confirmations, quotes, payment instructions, reminders, and case updates
- To keep patient records for continuity of care
- To improve service quality, safety, and operational planning
- To protect the website against spam, bots, abuse, and unauthorised access
4. How information is stored and protected
- Website data is stored using secure cloud services, including Supabase for database/authentication/storage and Vercel for hosting.
- Access to client and patient information is restricted to authorised Gentle Paws veterinary professionals, technicians, support staff, and technical providers who need it for service delivery.
- Admin areas are protected by login access and role-based controls.
- The website uses HTTPS encryption in transit.
- Security services such as Cloudflare Turnstile and Upstash Redis may be used to reduce spam, bot submissions, and abusive traffic.
- We do not publish client medical records or home addresses publicly.
5. Third-party services
We may use trusted technology services to operate the website and manage requests, including:
- Vercel for website hosting and deployment
- Supabase for database, authentication, and storage
- Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, if enabled
- Upstash Redis for rate limiting, if enabled
- WhatsApp links to help clients contact us quickly
6. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share relevant information only when necessary for veterinary care, referral, diagnostics, legal compliance, or service operation.
- Partner clinics, laboratories, or referral providers when needed for patient care
- Authorised staff or technical providers who support the service
- Authorities or legal bodies where disclosure is required by law
7. Data retention
We keep records for as long as needed for clinical continuity, legal, operational, follow-up, and professional record-keeping purposes. Uploaded files and non-essential records may be removed when they are no longer needed, unless they form part of an active clinical case or required record.

Clients may contact us to:
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion where legally and clinically possible
- Request a copy of relevant records where appropriate
- Ask questions about privacy or data handling
- Withdraw consent for non-essential communications where applicable
9. Emergency information
Emergency request information may be prioritised for urgent response. For severe emergencies, clients should call immediately because form submission alone may not be fast enough.
